On the morning of October 18th, the 4th China Tongcheng (Xindu) Plastic Packaging Machinery and Green Environmental Protection New Materials Exhibition and Sales Fair was held in Xindu Town, a plastic packaging industry cluster town. Mayor Zhang Zhouzhong attended the opening ceremony of the trade fair and announced the opening of the exhibition. Wu Hongjun, Deputy Secretary General of the China Packaging Federation, Dong Lisong, Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fang Changqing, Dean and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Printing, Packaging and Digital Media at Xi'an University of Technology, Wu Wei, Director and Doctoral Supervisor of the Printing Department at Wuhan University of Technology, Yao Qishui, Director and Doctoral Supervisor of the Provincial and Ministerial Joint Construction Office at Hunan University of Technology, Lin Cunge, Vice President of the China Degradable Plastics Professional Committee, and leaders Wang Zhiyi, Jin Qiuming, Liu Gang, Ma Yurong and others from our city attended the opening ceremony. Jin Qiuming, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Minister of the Organization Department, and Minister of the United Front Work Department, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony, which was presided over by Vice Mayor Liu Gang.

The theme of this exhibition is "New Equipment, New Materials, and New Processes", with three exhibition areas: composite printing, blow molding bag making, and raw materials and semi-finished products. It showcases the entire industry chain of plastic machinery and equipment, plastic molds, plastic raw materials, and plastic products with leading technology at home and abroad. There are 500 booths with a total exhibition area of 20000 square meters. The exhibition attracted more than 250 companies to participate, including companies from the Yangtze River Delta region such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, as well as companies from Beijing, Xiong'an New Area, Guangdong, Shandong, and other places.

This exhibition will last for 3 days. In addition to product exhibitions, activities such as cooperation negotiations, investment promotion, and forum exchanges have also been carried out. Compared with the previous three exhibitions, this exhibition has a larger scale, new equipment, and more products. Degradable, recyclable, and reusable green and ecological plastic packaging products and production equipment have attracted much attention.

During the exhibition, our city also held a press conference, inviting central media units stationed in Anhui and mainstream media from the province and Anqing city to report on the grand occasion of the exhibition and the achievements of Tongcheng plastic packaging industry development.

The exhibition also showcased the development achievements, advantages, future plans, and characteristic products of Tongcheng plastic packaging industry, effectively enhancing the visibility and reputation of our city's plastic packaging industry cluster.

Jin Qiuming pointed out in his speech that the Municipal Party Committee and Government attach great importance to the development of the plastic packaging industry, hold plastic packaging exhibitions and sales fairs, with the aim of guiding enterprises to adapt to the needs of the situation, aiming at industry benchmarks, promoting industrial upgrading, and accelerating leapfrog development.

After the opening ceremony, guests from all walks of life went to the exhibition area to watch the exhibition.
